  1. Having some issues with the Site Collection Usage report not updating correctly and patch a bad update, causing the site to no communicate with SQL database. Ended up SQL connection being different versions. Had to run psconfig -cmd upgrade -inplace -b2b -force -wait and rerun wizard to repair site. Got it fixed! Saved the day.

  2. Downloaded Cadiolight(Interlock) to monitor website activity and users who logon to Sharepoint Site. Even though Sharepoint uses Site Collection Usage Report, you cannot customize, or get hourly updates like this 3rd party software. Not hard to configuer, had it up and collecting within 1 hour. Ill I really need to know is who logged in, what site & how long they were thier.

  5. Created SCROM-compliant E-Learning content with Learning Contnent Developer System from Microsoft.I created simple training classes on using company applications. LCDS aurthor is a GUI that is simple to use. Afterwards in Sharepoint you 1st create users (locally) and give permission access to main site. Make sure you give student SLK Learner Permissions. If not, they cannot see assigned quiz's.
